William John Schwartz

Wednesday, April 02, 2008 Mr. William John Schwartz, age 50, of Calhoun. Died Wednesday morning April 2nd at 3:50AM in Gordon Hospital. Mr. Schwartz was born in Fulton County February 21, 1958. Son of Martha Claire Edge Schwartz and the late William Cyril Schwartz. William was a graduate of Calhoun High School class of “76” and attended Dalton College. He was a avid outdoorsman and worked in the flooring sales industry. He is survived by his mother Martha Claire Schwartz of Calhoun. One daughter, Allison Cooper of Canton, Georgia. One sister, Patricia Schwartz Roe of Calhoun. Granddaughter, McKenzie Cooper. His good friend, Wanda Jones along with several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday April 5th at 11am in Chandler Cemetery. With Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating. The family request that in lieu of flowers donation be made to the Gordon County Historical Society, 335 South Wall Street, Calhoun, Georgia,30701. The family will meet at the funeral home Saturday morning at 10am before going to the cemetery.
