William “Randall” Black, age 45 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 in Erlanger Health System.
Randall was born on December 24, 1968 in Floyd County to Winston Black and Sue Cooper Black. He was a lifetime resident of Gordon County, and formerly employed by O.M.C. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Millard Black formerly of Rossville; and Roy and Essie Cooper formerly of Calhoun.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie Black of Calhoun; parents, Winston and Sue Black of Sugar Valley; daughter, Savannah M. Black of Calhoun; brother, Gregory Scott Black of Calhoun; sister, Susan Black of Sugar Valley; two sister-in-laws, Jessica Hall and Ruby Lee; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Marie Hall of Calhoun; four nieces and nephews, Caleb Black, Chandler Bartlett, Davis Barnes, and Nora Barnes; aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 19th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend James Loveless and Reverend Mitch Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving include Gary Henderson, Doug Henderson, Shane Anderson, Marc Anderson, Jimmy Willoughby, and Jerry Callahan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Shane Gilbert, Bill Sapp, Justin Stone, Jason Stewart, Jackie Swafford, and Greg Ruddell.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 4 – 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
