Wilborn Robert “Bobby” Galloway, age 68 of Ranger, GA, passed away on Friday October 28th at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome.
“Bobby” was born on February 7, 1948 in Pickens, South Carolina to U.G. Galloway and Seldia Jane Holland. He was a member of Corner Church of Plainville and Fellowship Baptist Church of Plainville. “Bobby” served in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corp. He was also employed by Tandus.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by one son, Kenneth Galloway; one sister and four brothers.
“Bobby” is survived by his wife, Alice Galloway of Ranger, two sons, William Smith and his wife LaRonda of Adairsville and Eddie Eades and his wife Penny of Fairmount; one daughter, Tracey Hillegeist of Calhoun; two sisters, Racheal Smith and her husband James of Easley, SC and Mariann Smith of Pickens, SC; he is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Service for “Bobby” Galloway will be conducted Sunday October 30, 2016 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Chandler Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends on Saturday October 29, 2016 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home.
