Waymon Emil Chastain

Tuesday, March 10, 2009 Waymon Emil Chastain, age 62 of Calhoun died at 8:25 AM, Monday in Gordon Hospital. Waymon had lived most of his life in Gordon County and was a Baptist. He is survived by two sons, Waymon Curtis Chastain of Fairmount and Russell Heath Chastain of Burbank, California, three daughters, Ann Yvette Chastain of Cedartown, Susan Renee Byers of Calhoun, and Janet Nicole Morgan of Edmonton, Kentucky; his companion, Linda Kelly of Calhoun; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside of Sugar Valley Cemetery at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 11 with the Revered Richard Blaylock officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 10 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
