Walter Lenard Walker

Walter Lenard Walker, age 70 of Calhoun, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Gordon Hospital. Walter was born on February 14, 1947 in LaFayette, GA to the late Isaac Newton Walker and Mary Pauline Gerameny. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest brother. Walter was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army. Prior to his retirement he worked at Mohawk Industries. Walter is survived by his wife, Wanda Stanley Walker of Calhoun; brother, Newton Walker of Tennessee; and nephew, Wayne Walker. Graveside Services will be conducted on Thursday, June 29th at 12:30 PM in the GA National Cemetery with Rev. Parham Hammontree officiating.
