Thomas Funeral Home 535 Red Bud Road NE Calhoun, GA. 30701-1962 Mr. Walter C. Earle, Jr., age 83 of Calhoun died at 2:40 P.M., Monday, May 04, 2009 in Gordon Health Care of Calhoun. He was born, July 20, 1925 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, son of the late Dr. and Mrs. W.C. Earl, Sr. He was a retired Seventh Day Adventist Church Minister and was credited for building many churches and schools in the Georgia-Cumberland Conference. He was a World War II Veteran, US Army and was a member of the Calhoun Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mr. Earle is survived by his wife, Frances L. Earle of Calhoun; three sons, Raymond Earle of Charlotte, North Carolina, David Earle of Nashville, and James Earle of Calhoun; two daughters, Ruth Wiehn of Charlotte, North Carolina and Eugenia Huskins of Wilmington, Delaware; one brother, Norman Earle of Ashville, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; nieces and nephews, Karen Johnson of Michigan, Gary Skinner of Chicago, Linda Knecht of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Norman Earle of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 6 at the Calhoun Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastors Al Kline, Roy Musgrave, and Mike Lombardo officiating.
