Viola Bernice Fritz Kennett, age 62, of Plainville and formerly from Illinois, passed away Monday November 25th in Gordon Hospital.
Viola was born October 6, 1951 in Springfield, Illinois, daughter of the Velma Wilson Ladage and the late Richard Guy Fritz. She was a member of the Calhoun Seventh-Day Adventist Church and had been employed by Coppage, Leman and Ward Attorneys of Dalton. She was a special lady, who wanted to take care everyone, she was loved by many, she loved her God, her family and her friends and was awaiting Jesus’ soon return.
Besides her father she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Vicky Hinds and Debra Bagby.
Survivors include her mother, Velma Wilson Ladage of Plainville, one daughter, Stephanie Fair and her husband Wayne of Panama City, Florida, her brothers and sisters, Guy Fritz and his wife Debby of Oakland, IL., Lester Fritz of Rockford, IL., Cathy Fritz of Plainville, John Ladage of Acworth, IL., and Paw Fritz of Nashville, Tn., her grandchildren, Michael Marcus of Clayton, Ga.,, Cassaundra Marcus of Panama City, and Brandon Marcus of Clayton, Ga.. A special Aunt, Ula Pritchett of Petersburg, IL. As well as a number of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday November 29th at 2pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, IL. on Monday December 2nd.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
