Ulmaire Hunt Walters

Ulmaire Hunt Walters, age 93 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Morning Pointe Assisted Living. Ulmaire was born on July 21, 1923 in Richton, MS to the late Ulman McMurphy and Ethel Taylor McMurphy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ransom L. Walters; and five brothers and sisters. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lucedale, MS. Ulmaire is survived by her son, Don Walters of Calhoun; brother, Ralph McMurphy and his wife Betty of Lucedale, MS; sister, Mamie Hodges of Lucedale, MS; two granddaughters, Amanda Brackin and her husband Lyle, and Cathrine Baucom and her husband Kary; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 13th at 11 AM from the First Baptist Church of Lucedale, MS with Reverend Lyle Brackin officiating.
