Tristan Shaylor Jones

Tristan Shaylor Jones, age 13, of Calhoun. Passed away Sunday November 20th at his home. Tristan was born May 10, 1998 in Whitfield County. Son of Larry D. Jones, Jr. and the late Lisa Eads Jones. He was a member of the House of Prayer Baptist Church and attended Belwood and Sonoraville Elementary Schools. During Tristan's illness he was ministered to by the Rev. Freddie Shugart and Rev. Gene Clark. Besides his mother he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry D. Jones, Sr. and his grandmother, Carolyn Adams. Survivors include his parents, Larry D. Jones, Jr. and Joyce Jones. Two brothers, Larry D. (Trey) Jones, III and Brandon A. Lewis all of Calhoun. Grandmother, Gloria Jones of Calhoun. Grandfather, Ronnie Eads and his wife Rhonda of Indianapolis. Grandparents, James and Brenda Anderson of Calhoun. and Grandfather, Rodney Adams of Cumberland, Ky. Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday November 22nd at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Andrew Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include, Trey Jones, Brandon Lewis, Wesley Leatherwood, and Brad Ray. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 until 8pm.
