Mr. Tony Lamar Baldwin

Mr. Tony Lamar Baldwin, age 63, passed away at his home in Calhoun, GA, on March 21, 2025.

Tony was born on December 3, 1961, in Calhoun, GA, he was raised by the late Wallace “Footsie” Baldwin and the late Viola Parker Holliday. Tony was a worker from the time he was able, dedicating a large portion of his life to truck driving and the open road. He could drive just about anything with wheels, and there was nothing he loved more than the freedom of being behind a steering wheel. His work wasn’t just a job: it was a part of who he was. Tony was tough and always said exactly what was on his mind, but beneath that exterior was a man with a deep well of love. He loved action movies, a “pretty” song, and a day spent fishing. Before he passed, he made sure to let his children know how he loved them, and he will live on in them. He was preceded in death by his son, T.J. Baldwin; his parents; and his sisters, Debbie “Duck-Duck” Baldwin, Betty Bryant, and Winnie Baldwin. 

He leaves behind his children, Ashley (Asher) Kelsey, Amanda (Patrick) Floyd, and A.J. (Lagacie) Baldwin, as well as his precious grandchildren, Jace and Rhys Floyd. His sister, Brenda Waddell, and nephews and extended cousins also survive.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 at 2 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. Family, friends, and former coworkers are welcome to attend. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 1:15 PM.
