Tommy Vinson Hightower

Tommy Vinson Hightower, age 53 of Ranger, passed away on Sunday morning, August 25, 2013 at his residence. Tommy was born on September 4, 1959 in Whitfield County, GA to Lucille McGhee Hightower and the late Jim Tom Hightower. He was a member of the Boone Ford Baptist Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Marty Vinson Hightower. Survivors include his wife, Donna Jean Quarrles Hightower; mother, Lucille Hightower of Ranger; brother, Jimmy T. Hightower all of Ranger; sister, Phyllis Patricia Hightower Nichols of Ellijay; four nephews, Aaron J. Garrick Hightower, Christopher Reese, Dustin Price and Taylor Price; three great-nieces, McKynna Price, Maggie Price and Tinker Hightower also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, August 30th at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Ezell Brown and Reverend Hershel Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 29th from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the funeral home.
