Tina Ruth Pierce

Tina Ruth Pierce, age 59 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on October 4, 2021 at Floyd Medical Center.

Tina was born on July 10, 1962 in Kennesaw, GA, daughter of the late Ernest Frank Thomas and Reba Joyce Hilley Thomas. Prior to Tina’s illness she was employed by Captain D’s for over 27 years.

Tina is survived by: her husband David Pierce; four daughters, Lacey Thomas, Amber Gunthel and her husband Eric, Tiffany Thomas, and Tonya Thomas; two sons, Michael Evans and his wife Amber and Chris Evans and his wife D.J.; three brothers, Roger Thomas, Frank Thomas and his wife Kathy, and Ernest Thomas and his wife Julie; three sisters, Debbie Thomas, Ann Keys, and Patricia Alexander and her husband Jason; sixteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild also survives.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Vince Gulledge officiating. Interment will follow in Curryville Cemetery.

Pallbearers serving are: Tommy Dunton, Jason Alexander, Michael Evans, and Chris Evans.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 7, 2021 beginning at 1 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
