Thomas Wilburn Phillips, Jr.

Thomas Wilburn Phillips, Jr., age 70 of Adairsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 15^th at his residence surrounded by his family.

Thomas was born on November 11, 1951, in Savannah, Georgia to the late Thomas Wilburn Phillips, Sr. and Sarah Nix Phillips. Thomas was an industrial painter with Fox Accents. He was a member of Sonoraville Baptist Church where he has served as a missionary to Africa, Panama, and Mexico. He dearly loved music and sang in the choir of his beloved church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia Phillips; son, Joshua Powell and his wife Andrea; daughter, Margaret Dutton and her husband Shae; sisters, Judith Langston, and Candra Phillips; seven grandchildren, Cole Dutton, Sarah Dutton, James Dutton, Sarenidy Powell, Tristen Powell, Rayland Powell, and Zachary Powell.

Celebration of Life will be conducted on Wednesday, June 22^nd at 6:45 PM at Sonoraville Baptist Church with Reverend Jamey Hunt officiating.
