Thomas Funeral Home 535 Red Bud Road Calhoun, Georgia 30701 706-629-2832 Mr. Thomas Franklin “Frank” Jones, age 71, of Adairsville. Died Tuesday evening August 11th in Gordon Hospital. Frank was born in Walker County on December 31, 1937. Son of the late Gus Lloyd and Janie Mae Watson Jones. He was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and was employed by Shaw Industries prior to his retirement. Besides his parents Frank was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Jones in 1999. Survivors include his wife Joyce Jones of Adairsville. One son; Marty Jones and his wife Julia of Ranger. Three daughters; Carol Bearden and her husband Lane, Sherry Gallman and her husband Jacky, and Cathy Hollaran and her husband Kenneth all of Calhoun. One brother; C.L. Jones of LaFayette. Four sisters; Peggy Stone, Doris Brown, Ruby Hilburn, and Frances Fricks all of LaFayette. Ten grandchildren; Alan, Jason, Jeannie and Jessica Gallman, Wesley Jones, Joseph, Lloyd and Chaney Bearden, Hannah and Sarah Hollaran. Four great grandchildren; Beth, Will, Jayce and Madelyn Gallman. A special nephew, Wayne Fricks his wife Linda and their family along with many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday August 14th at 2pm from the Salem Baptist Church. With Rev. William Roberts and Rev. Perry Blackstock officiating. April Bohannon, Amy Padgett, Alita Quarels and Clayton Hilburn will arrange music. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving include; Mike Bohannon, Steve Quarels, Brian Bohannon, Walter Bohannon, Brant Talley, and Brian Smith. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 4 until 8pm.
