Thomas Henry Allen

Thomas Henry “Tom” Allen, age 99 of Calhoun and formerly of Atlanta, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living. Tom was born on January 27, 1916 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Annie Elizabeth Thornberg. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Byrd Allen; and daughter, Marilyn Allen Ball. He is survived by his daughter, Annette Cook and her husband Charles of Emerson, GA; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 9th at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Walter Hare officiating. Graveside Services will follow at 3:00 PM at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, GA with Reverend Barry Odom in charge of graveside rites. Pallbearers serving will be Kyle Garriga, Matt Mathis, Jon Voiselle, John Surrett, Andy Mathis and James Mathis.
