Thelma Louise Fuller

Wednesday, July 07, 2010 Thelma Louise Fuller, age 66, of the Sugar Valley Community. Died Thursday afternoon July 8th in the Specialty Hospital of Floyd Medical Center. Thelma was born May 8, 1944 in Cherokee County, Alabama. Daughter of Edna Stanley and the late Robert Arnold Stanley.. She was a member of the Calhoun Church of Christ and attended the Sugar Valley Baptist Church. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Fuller, a grandson, D.J. Fuller, her brother, LeRoy Stanley and a sister, Beatrice Stanley. Besides her mother she is survived by one son, David Fuller of Sugar Valley. One daughter, Candi Green and her husband Sandy of Resaca. One brother, Kenny Stanley of Resaca. Six sisters; Pearlie Mae Fuller, Minnie Bell Stiles, Betty Bennett, Pat Weeks, and Cheryl Brock all of Gordon County, and Linda Magyari of Stark, Florida. Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday July 11th at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Mitch Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the West Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbears serving include; Bryan Holt, Blake Green, Brandon Green, Barry Stanley, Steve Barker, David Thomas, Tommy Young, and Barry Mount. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5 until 8pm.
