Thelma Cox

Thelma Cox, age 84, of Calhoun and formerly of Cobb County, passed away Saturday afternoon April 5th at her residence. Thelma was born March 12, 1930 in Cobb County, daughter of the late Robert E. Ragsdale and Pauline Brown Ragsdale. She was employed by North Cobb Drugs prior to her retirement and was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church of Marietta. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Cox and a sister, Edith Honea. Survivors include her son, Gary Cox of Lyerly, Georgia, nephew, Larry Honea and his wife Mary of Calhoun and a niece, Janice Brannen of Acworth. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday April 8th at 2:30pm at Kennesaw Memorial Park with Dr. John Allen officiating.
