Terry Allen Wheat, Sr., age 50 of Resaca, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 due to injuries sustained in an accident. Terry was born on May 30, 1963 in Whitfield County, GA. He was the son of the late Barry Wheat, Jr. and Doris Ferguson Wheat. Terry was very excited about the upcoming birth of his first grandchild. Survivors include: his wife, Linda M. Wheat of Resaca; son, Terry Wheat, Jr. of Resaca; daughter, Melissa Hendrix and her husband Reggie of Ranger; brothers, Michael Wheat and his wife Glenda of Mormon, GA, Bill Wheat and his wife Audrey of Sugar Valley, GA, Danny Wheat and his wife Darlene of Rocky Face, GA and Chuck Wheat and his wife Amy of Childersburg, AL; and aunt, Geneva Fisher of Dalton, GA. The family will hold private services at a later date.
