Terry Lee Warren

Terry Lee Warren, age 55 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 at his residence. Terry was born on November 23, 1956 in Floyd County. Son of Leonard Warren and Jean Brown Warren. Terry served his country honorably in the United States Army as a member of the elite 82nd Airborne Division, after his discharge he continued to serve in the Georgia National Guard achieving the rank of Sargent. He was preceded in death by; One brother, David Warren. One great-niece, Lexi Neal. Grandparents; Edmon and Edna Brown, Sarah Idell Warren and Paul E. Warren. One sister-in-law, Nancy Warren. In addition to his parents survivors include; One sister, Diane and her husband David Yarbrough of Plainville. Four brothers; Michael Warren of Summerville, Glenn and his wife Lynn Warren of Oostanaula, Kenny Warren of Scottsville, and Chris and his wife Ouida Warren of Calhoun. Several Nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00a.m. on Thursday, April 26th from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Hoyt Coker and Rev. Dwaine Shadix officiating. Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers serving include; Michael Warren, Glenn Warren, Kenny Warren, Chris Warren, David Yarbrough, and Derek Yarbrough. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8p.m. on Wednesday, April 25th at the funeral home.
