Terry Stone

Saturday, September 04, 2010 Terry Stone, age 60, of Ranger, Georgia, died suddenly at Piedmont Mountain Side Hospital. Terry was born September 10, 1949 in Pickens County, Georgia. Son of the late James Luke Stone and Nellie Pass Stone. In addition to his parents Terry was preceded in death by five brothers; Lester, Elmer, Gene, Verlon, and Marvin Stone. One sister, Clara Mae Roger. Survivors include his two brothers; Troy Stone and Damer Stone both of Ranger. Two sisters; Gladsy Sue Stone of Ranger and Willie Faye Brooks of Jasper. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday September 5th at 2:00 PM from Black Knob Baptist Church, with Rev. Hubert Pack officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Pickens County. Pallbearers serving include: Alvin Stone, Roy Young, Jacob Stone, Calvin Ray, Anthony Flemming, and David Stone. Honarary pallbearers include: Bobby Stone, Michael Stone, Chris Stone, and Rocky Stone The family will receive friends Saturday evening starting at 4 PM. Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral services for Terry Stone.
