Teresa Lynn Martin

Teresa Lynn Martin, age 55 of Fairmount, passed away on February 2, 2018 in Gordon Hospital. Teresa was born on March 12, 1962 in Whitfield County, GA to the late Harold and Missouri Scott. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray Martin. Teresa was a member of the First Apostolic Ministries of Calhoun, and has been a resident of Gordon County for the last 31 years. Teresa is survived by her five sons, Jimmy Ray Martin Jr. and his wife Mindy of Calhoun, Shane Martin and his wife Michelle of Dahlonega, Dwayne Martin of Winder, Michael Martin and his wife Crystal of Winder, and Jerry Martin and his wife Amy of Winder; two daughters, Tina Martin of Fairmount and Melissa Martin and her husband Christian Warren of Kennesaw; brother, Tommy Scott and his wife, Barbara Scott; two sisters, Debbie Crow and her husband Eddie of Dalton, and Linda Giddens and her husband Kim of Dalton; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one grandpuppy. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, February 5th at 2 PM from the First Apostolic Ministries of Calhoun with Pastor Ricky Silvers officiating. Interment will follow in White Cemetery of Villanow, GA. Pallbearers serving will be Jimmy Martin Jr., Christian Warren, Eric Crow, Eddie Crow, Tim Warren, Shane Martin, Dewayne Martin, and Jerry Martin. Tommy Scott will be an honorary pallbearer.
