Tatum Greeson

Tatum Greeson, age 84 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Calhoun Health Care. Tatum was born on March 20, 1930 in Gordon County to the late Lum Greeson and Winnie Tatum Greeson. He was a member of the Damascus Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Bill Greeson, Robbie Greeson, Bennie Lee Barrett, June Holland, Bonnie Hall, and Mira Thornbrough. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Cook Greeson of Calhoun; son, Byron Greeson and his wife Denise of Calhoun; daughter, Lynn Langston of Calhoun; sister, Jo Greeson Harbour and her husband John of Calhoun; three grandchildren, Kyle Langston, Katie Dishroon and her husband Paul, Marshall Greeson and his wife Felicia; and three great-grandchildren, Preston Greeson, Addison Dishroon, and Anna Dishroon. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, October 31st at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Rick Langston officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
