Tammy Rena Couch

Tammy Rena Couch, age 49 of Sugar Valley, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019 at AdventHealth Gordon. Tammy was born on October 3, 1969 in Floyd County, GA, daughter of Billy Ray Couch and the late Melinda Carver. She was preceded in death by her mother, Melinda Carver; grandmother, Vera Carver; grandfather, Clifford Carver; grandparents, Robert and Mildred Couch; and step-father, Johnny Parks. She was a member of North Woods Baptist Church. Tammy was a loving mother and nana. Tammy is survived by: her father, Billy Couch and his wife Joyce of Resaca; daughter, Tiffany Couch of Sugar Valley; god-daughter, Angelica Machuca; two grandchildren, Kristlen Cliatt and Amberly Machuca; two brothers, Tony Couch and Dewayne Couch; step-brother, Perry Ball; great-aunt, Margaret Mulkey; special aunt, Kimberly Carver of Sugar Valley; two nephews, Cody Couch and David Couch; and two nieces, Haley Cornett and Morgan Brown. Many great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 17th at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Randall Fouts officiating. Emma Fouts will have charge of music. Interment will follow in Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Perry Ball in charge of graveside rites. Pallbearers serving are: Cody Couch, David Couch, Justin Brown, and Kevin Fuller. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
