Tammy Bowman, age 53 of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Hospice Atlanta of Emory. Tammy was born on April 16, 1961 in Gordon County. She was the daughter of Gene Holbrook and Jeanette Rogers Holbrook. Tammy was a member of the Church of Christ of Adairsville. She is survived by her husband, Greg Bowman; daughter, Tessa Bowman; son, Gage Bowman; father and mother, Gene and Jeanette Holbrook; father and mother-in-law, William and Charlotte Bowman; brothers, Derek Holbrook and his wife Allison and their children, Chase and Dawson Holbrook, and Garry Champion and his wife Kelly; sister-in-law, Millie Coker and her husband Brian all of Calhoun; brother-in-law, Phillip Bowman and his wife Karen of Gainesville; nephew, Hagan Champion; and niece, Kasey Champion. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, February 13th at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Preacher Rick Lawson and Preacher Steve McCaslin officiating. Pallbearers serving include Andrew Coker, Tanner Bowman, Chase Holbrook and Dawson Holbrook. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 – 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
