Susan Gazaway Robertson

Susan Gazaway Robertson, age 76 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Rome, GA on October 11, 1940, daughter of the late Leonard DeWitt Fuller and Ruth Ledford Kinsey. She attended West GA College for several years, until marrying John A. Gazaway. Following marriage she resided in Ankara, Turkey where Mr. Gazaway was stationed in the United States Army. After returning state side she spent the majority of her life in Gordon County. She attended the Plainville United Methodist Church. Susan is survived by two sons, Jeff Gazaway and his wife Scarlett of Plainville and Mark Gazaway of Savannah; two half-brothers, Tim Fuller of Plainville and Ted Fuller of Rome; two half-sisters, Gail Hayes of Calhoun and the late Joy Bingham of Trenton; and two grandchildren, Kati and Aubri Gazaway of Plainville. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 PM on Sunday, October 30th at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:30 PM on Sunday prior to the service at Thomas Funeral Home.
