Sue L. Lewis, age 74, of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday April 21st, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Sue was born December 30, 1945 in Gordon County, daughter of the late Eugene Lancaster and Thelma Rae Lancaster. She was a member of the Farmville United Methodist Church and was retired after 36 years from the Gordon County Tax Assessor’s Office.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mack Lewis, three sons, Phillip Charles Lewis, David Wayne Lewis and his wife Autumn and John Heath Lewis, and one sister, Regina Harmon. One grandson, Dillon Lewis and his wife Melanie, one great-grandson, Dawson Wayne Lewis and one great-granddaughter on the way, Layla Amanda Lewis also survives.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, April 24th at 4:30pm from Blackwood Springs Cemetery with Rev. Stacey Hensley officiating.
