Staci Lynne Holsomback-Carroll

Tuesday, May 18, 2010 Staci Lynne Holsomback-Carroll, age 38, of Fairmount. Died Monday morning May 17th in Emory University Hospital. Staci was born in Floyd County March 24, 1972. Daughter of John F. Holsomback, Jr. and Linda Crowe Holsomback. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairmount and was a 1990 graduate of Gordon Central High School. Staci also receive her graduate degree from Southern Polytechnic State University in 1997. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Berma Holsomback and Roy and Eula B. Crowe. In addition to her parents she is survived by her son, John David Carroll of Fairmount. Grandfather, Forrest Holsomback of Sugar Valley. Brother, Jonathan Holsomback of Fairmount. Her aunt and uncle; Barbara and Neal Holsomback of Sugar Valley and Polly and Jeff Brown of Calhoun. Her cousins,Holly Rogers of Calhoun , Jay Holsomback , Terri Lambert of Sugar Valley Emily and Mallory Brown of Calhoun also survive her. The family request that in lieu of flowers donation may be made in the memory of Staci Holsomback-Carroll % Georgia Transplant Foundation, 6600 Peachtree-Dunwoody Road, 600 Embassy Row, Suite #25, Atlanta, Georgia, 30328. Rick Langston officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 9pm. Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
