Sinota Atinuke Clement Awosanya

Mrs. Sinota Atinuke Clement Awosanya, age 75 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Advent Health Gordon.

Sinota was born on April 19, 1949 in Lagos, Nigeria, daughter of the late Ignacius Clement and Adebisi Gay Clement. In addition to her parents, Sinota was also preceded in death by her husband, Talib Adedoyin Awosanya.

Sinota is survived by her children: Adedoyin (Modupe) Awosanya, Adegbenga (Yetunde) Awosanya, Adetokunbo Awosanya, Adewale (Toyin) Awosanya, Adedapo (Tobechukwu) Awosanya. Her grandchildren: Aderemi Awosanya, Tofunmi Awosanya, Ayomide Awosanya, Taiwo Awosanya, Kehinde Awosanya, Darasimi Awosanya, and Elsa Awosanya.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 12 PM until 1 PM at Thomas Funeral Home, followed by a Traditional Praise and Worship Service from 1 PM until 2 PM. 

The Funeral Ceremony will begin at 2 PM with Chaplain Ryan McCorkle officiating. The family will hold a small reception from 2:30 PM until 3:30 PM, at which time the family will leave in a procession to Chandler Cemetery.
