Mrs. Shirley Hall, age 58, of Calhoun. Died Friday evening August 21st in the Specialty Hospital of Floyd Medical Center. Shirley was born in Gordon County February 12, 1951. Daughter of the late Floyd and Geneva Parker Silvers. She attended the Holiness Church of Christ in the Red Bud Community and was a former employee of the Bostik Corporation. Survivors include her husband; Melvin D. Hall. Three sons; Shane Greeson, Steven Greeson and his wife Kim, and Joel Hall and his wife Carrie all of Calhoun. Three brothers; Ray, Bill, and Timmy Silvers all of Calhoun. Three sisters; Dimple Brown of Murfreesboro, TN., Patsy Suggs and Charlotte Miller both of Calhoun. Seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren along with a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Monday August 24th at 2pm in the Full Gospel Fellowship Church. With Rev. Dwayne Shadix, Rev. Lawrence Silvers, and Rev. Hershel Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include; Josh Greeson, Gerry Weaver, Zane Holsomback, Ashley Johnson, Timmy and Danny Parker. Honorary escorts will include; Will Hall, Emily Greeson, Alex Greeson, Reese Greeson as well as local Law enforcement personnel. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-8pm, Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8, and on Monday until 12:30 at which time Shirley will be taken to the church to lie in state from 1pm until the funeral hour.
