Shirley Marie Burns

Shirley Marie Burns, age 70 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at AdventHealth Gordon. Shirley was born on April 15, 1950 in Bartow County, GA, daughter of the late Lewis Thomas Wiley, Jr. and Callie Marie Duncan Wiley. She was a member of Creekside Fellowship Church of Cartersville, GA. Shirley is survived by: her husband, Bobby Burns of Calhoun, GA; son, David Thomas Burns and his wife Keshia of Rome, GA; three grandchildren, Ben Burns, Baylie Burns, and Cadee Burns; two brothers, Clyde Wiley of Rome, GA and Claude Robertson of Rosedale, GA; and two sisters, Margie Cagle of Rosedale, GA and Robin Long of Rome, GA. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. Pallbearers serving include: Claude Robertson, Clyde Wiley, Everett Brannon, Bruce Walraven, Nick Robertson, and L.D. Cagle. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 PM until the funeral hour at 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
