Shelba Hall

Shelba Hall, age 77 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at her residence. Shelba was born on November 28, 1938 in Union County, GA to the late Clyde Spiva and Annie Vonerine Fortenberry Spiva. She was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Hall; daughter, Janet Lawaine Hall; and brother, James Spiva. She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Celeste Hall; three grandchildren, Dakota Wayne Hall Rasbury and his wife Candace Michelle Rasbury, Janet Olivia Rasbury, and Kenneth Patrick Colton Rasbury; great-granddaughter, Tenley Lynn Rasbury; two brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law, Gene and Virginia Cooper of Rome, and Dan and Shelor Boswell of Calhoun; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, July 14th at 2:00 PM at Calhoun First Baptist Church with Dr. Bert Vaughn and Dr. John Barber officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 PM until the funeral hour at 2 PM at Calhoun First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Calhoun First Baptist Building Fund or the John Wayne Hall Teen Center at the Boys and Girls Club.
