Sarah Matlyn Williams

Sarah Matlyn Williams, age 11, passed away Thursday morning June 24th at her home surrounded by her family. Sarah was born December 5, 1998. She was a student at Belwood Elementary School and a member of the NorthPointe Church in Adairsville. Sarah's favorite colors were purple, lime-green and black when you wear these colors remember her and her courage. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Mary Davenport, and Claude and Sarah Williams. She is survived by her parents; Bob and Susan Williams of Calhoun. Grandfather, Tom Davenport of Waycross. Her dogs; Ariel, Dora, Molly, and Lucy. Her best friends; Cayla Terley, Julianna and Alexandra Hunt. Several uncles, aunts and cousins also survive. Life Remembrances' of Sarah will be celebrated 10am Monday June 28th at NorthPointe Church located at 30 Orchard Way in Adairsville, Georgia. With Jim Pinkard and Stephen Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Music will be arranged by Lee Castro and Ken Watters. Pallbearers serving include; Dan Hunt, Dr. Joseph Joyave, Pete Stewart, David Holcombe, Lanier Terley, and Jimmy Fox. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4 until 8pm at the NorthPointe Church. It was Sarah's belief that nothing in nature should be destroyed for that reason the family request that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the following; Camp Sunshine, Coulter Hampton Foundation, Emily's Power For A Cure, Lana's Love Foundation, and The Lighthouse Family Retreat. Envelopes for these organizations will be provided at the church.
