Sarah Ann Pierce

Sarah Ann Pierce, age 71 of Calhoun, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at AdventHealth Gordon. Sarah was born on December 4, 1948 in Calhoun, Ga to the late Ralph Wilson and Mary Falls Wilson. She was a very devoted, and active member of Crane Eater Community Church, where she loved to sing Gospel Music. Sarah served as a school bus driver for Gordon County School System for many years. She is survived by her loving husband, James Pierce; daughter, Donna Ruiz of Denver, Colorado; one son Hank Williams of the Nickelsville Community; sister, Joan Cash of Calhoun; two brothers, Dale Roberts and his wife Rita of Eton, GA, and Brian Roberts and his wife Nancy of the Nickelsville Community; two grandchildren, Casandra Williams, and Bianca Taylor; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Crane Eater Community Church at 2:00 PM with Reverend Paul Gay and Reverend Howard Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane Eater Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Thomas Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
