Sarah Kathryn Meadows

Sarah Kathryn Meadows, age 80 of Resaca died December 26 at her home. Kathryn was born in Gordon County, January 20, 1929, daughter of the late Roy Ceal Caldwell and Myrtle Davis Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Crawford Neal and her second husband, James Trammell Meadows, a brother, J.C. Caldwell, and a son, Ronnie Neal, March 13, 2009. She was a lifetime resident of Gordon County and was a Baptist. Kathryn is survived by two sons, John C. Neal and his wife, Darlene of Braxton, Mississippi and Dudley Meadows of Resaca; four sisters, Patsy Baker of Resaca, Joyce Adams of Calhoun, Ruth Roberts of Bristol, Virginia, and Retha Farmer of Marietta; grandchildren, Dustin Meadows, Heather Mckiddy and Luke Neal, two great grandchildren, Sawyer Mckiddy and Makenzie Neal; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 29 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Keith Reid officiating.
