Sarah Louise Cobb

Sarah Louise Cobb, age 66 of Calhoun, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Redmond Regional Medical Center. Sarah was born on November 29, 1946 in Jarvis, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Reverend Lewis C. Jones and Doris Vivian Asher Jones. She was of the Baptist faith and was formerly employed by Crown Craft. Survivors include: her companion, Jimmy Whitmore of Calhoun; two sons, Wayne Cobb of Calhoun and Stuart Cobb and his wife Kelley of Delano, Minnesota; one daughter, Melissa Buege of Woodbury, Minnesota; three brothers, Randall Jones and his wife Brenda of Calhoun, Charles Jones and his wife Betty of Georgetown, Kentucky and Kenneth Jones of Barbourville, Kentucky; one sister, Wilma Buchanan of Corbin, Kentucky; four step-sisters, Ruby Lawson, Ruth Thacker, Audrey Johnson and Vergie Bain; six grandchildren, Jennifer Buege, Anna Buege, Andrew Buege, Paige Hagen, Adrianna Cobb and Tara Cobb also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, July 29th at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Howard Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 28th from 2:00 until 5:00pm at Thomas Funeral Home.
