Mrs. Sara T. Muse, of 108 Hillcrest Drive, Calhoun, died Tuesday December 26th. at her residence following several weeks of declining health.
Mrs. Muse was born in Gordon County, Ga. daughter of the late James Benjamin and Daphne Cleo Stegall Tate. She had been a lifelong resident of Gordon County, was a homemaker and a member of the Calhoun First Baptist Church.
Survivors include nieces; Drena Lanier of Calhoun and Sara Fallin of Plano , Tx. , nephews; Bill Spink of Peachtree City, Ga., George Hutchinson of Sugar Valley, Mitchell Hutchinson of Atlanta and Sara Ann Swafford of Sugar Valley., a sister; Syble T. Spink of Calhoun and a sis-in-law; Patsy Hutchinson of Sugar Valley, along with other great – nieces and nephews and one greatgrand-nephew.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday December 28th from the Calhoun First Baptist Church with Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Fain Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving include Bill & Stephen Spink, Ben Lanier, Hunter Fallin, George and Mitchell Hutchinson and these men are asked to meet at the Thomas Funeral Home at 10:30 A,M. Thursday.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Rabb, W.R. Stripling, Vaughn Robbins, Bill Bailey, Johnny Muse, Bill Mathews, Perry Moore, Frank Hutchinson, and Rucker McDonald. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the Church at 10:45 A.M. Thursday..
The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. today Wednesday December 27th.
