Sara Joyce Daniel

Saturday, May 10, 2008 Mrs. Sarah Joyce Daniel, age 65, died Saturday morning May 10th at her residence following several months of declining health. Mrs. Daniel was born in Gordon County October 2, 1942. Daughter of the late Woodrow and Cora Ernest Padgett. She was a member of the Oakman United Methodist Church and was retired from Shaw Industries. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie Anne Quinn. Survivors include her husband; Charles Daniel of Calhoun. One son; Lee Quinn of Marietta. Two daughters; Courtney Quinn Davidson and her husband Trent of San Antonio,Texas and Audra Deems and her husband Fain of Rockmart. One brother; John Johnson and his wife Linda of Ranger. One sister; Anne Coffman and her husband Steve of Canton. Three grandchildren; Whitney Skidmore, Turner and Michael Davidson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday May 11th at 4pm at the Oakman United Methodist Church. With Rev. Padgett Nelson and Dr. Charles Scott officiating. Music will be provided by Susan Kraft. The family will receive friends at the church from 2 P.M. until the funeral hour. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Sarah Joyce Daniel.
