Sandra Norton Mealor

Sandra Norton Mealor, age 83 of Calhoun, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at her residence.

Sandra was born in Calhoun, GA on December 28, 1938, daughter of the late W.R. Billy Norton and Ruth Jones Norton. She was a lifetime resident of Calhoun and a former employee of Mannington Carpet. She was a member of South Calhoun Baptist Church, and an alumnus of Calhoun High School, Class of 1956.  

She is survived by: three sons, Randy Sutherland, Donnie Mealor, and Ernie Mealor; grandchildren, Jennifer Sutherland and D.J. Mealor, and one great grandchild, Daniel Gabree.

Memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 4th at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Shane Parrott officiating.  

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM Tuesday, October 4^th at Thomas Funeral Home.

In addition to flowers, donations may be given to the ASPCA or the local animal shelter.
