Ruby Ann Lynch

Monday, June 16, 2008 Mrs. Ruby Curling Lynch, age 77 of the Plainville Community died at 1:30 PM, Sunday June 15 at her residence. Ruby was born, September 14, 1930 in Newport News, Virginia, daughter of the late Patrick Curling and Rosaliah Mater Curling. Four brothers, three sisters, and a granddaughter, Heather, preceded her in death. She had been a Plainville resident since 1993 and was a member of the Unity Baptist Church of Plainville. Ruby is survived by her husband, Ralph E. Lynch of Plainville; two sons, Larry Kirkland of Washington State, Cliff Kirkland and his wife Patty of Culpepper, Virginia; two daughters, Kathy Grisham and her husband Jimmy of Plainville and Cindi Holly and her husband Marvin of Gloucester, Virginia, several grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 18th at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Hoyt Coker officiating. Burial follow will in Scott Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Len and Jeff Grisham, Billy Hartenbach, Justin Holley and Jason Knight, and Zak Lusk.
