Ruby Lee King, age 69 of Calhoun, died at 1:20 p.m. Friday November 16th, at Gordon Hospital following a period of declining health.
She was born in Murray County May 26th, 1943 a daughter of the late Willie Pack and Stacy Thomas Pack. She was a loving faithful wife and mother and loved the Lord. She was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Ron King; two sons, Terry Hopper and his wife Nita and Jason King; two daughters, Melissa Hopper Wood and Melinda Hopper Barber; one brother, Lloyd Pack and his wife Donna; one sister, Johnny Mae Conway; one sister-in-law, Brenda Brock and her husband Howard; four grandchildren, Jada Weaver and her husband Caleb, Jena Hopper, Leslie Wood, and Lindsey Barber; three nieces, Kim Pack, Cheryl Craig, and Lisa Holden; one nephew, Steven Craig all of Calhoun.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday November 19th from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Jether Cochran and Rev. Jerry Gaddis officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving include; Jeffery Long, Randy Roe, Howard Brock, Steven Craig, Rickey Holden, and Junior Burchett.
Family will receive friends Sunday November 18, 2012 at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m.
