Ruby Lee Davis

3-21-09 Mrs. Ruby Lee Davis, age 79 of the Resaca Community died at 6:23 AM, Saturday, March 21st at her residence. She was born, June 30, 1929, in McMinnville, TN., daughter of the late John Graves and Minnie Prince Graves and was a retired employee of Springs Industries and a member of the Miracle Temple Church. Ruby is survived by three sons, Joe Davis of Rome, Mickey Davis of Resaca, and Steve Davis of Chatsworth; five daughters, Claudia Headrick of Resaca, Betty Payne of Resaca, Jearlean Brown of Chatsworth, Wanda Ray of Sonoraville, and Karen Hendrix of Ranger. Thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 23rd at 2 pm from the Miracle Temple Church. With Rev. Joe Tillman and Rev. James Gravitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. One Step Forward will have charge of the music and Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Ruby will be taken to the church Sunday afternoon at 2pm where the family will receive friends until the funeral hour.
