Ruby Lee Barber, age 73 of the Plainville Community, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at her residence.
Ruby was born on August 7, 1939 in Floyd County. She was the daughter of the late Lother Harrell and Alma Dobbs Harrell. Ruby was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: one son, Jimmy Folds, Jr.; and two brothers, James Harrell and Dewitt Harrell.
Survivors include: her husband, Rex Barber of Plainville; two sons, Clayton Folds of Calhoun, and Danny Folds and his wife Sherrie of Adairsville; one sister, Helen Sprayberry and her husband Charles of Calhoun; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
Graveside Services will be conducted on Sunday, April 7th at 2:00pm at Chandler Cemetery with the Reverend Gary Hibberts officiating.
Pallbearers serving include: Samuel Sprayberry, Charles Sprayberry, Jesse Harrell and Clayton Folds.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6th from 5:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
