Rose Evelyn Poarch

 Rose Evelyn Poarch, age 75, of Calhoun, pass away Sunday evening April 28^th at her residence.

Rose was born July 4, 1948, in Gordon County. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Edna Scott Porch. She had spent her life in Gordon County and was a member of the Remnant Church. Rose had many loves in her life including bingo, talking on the phone, canning soup, salsa, and pear preserves to give to her friends.

Survivors include her aunt, Hunora Scott Gregory, cousins, Pricilla Gregory, Brenda Arnold, Glenda Cooley, and Puanne William. She is also survived by Rickie Allen and her family who she considered to be her extended family. 

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday May 2^nd at 5pm in Chandler Cemetery with Rev. Andrew Hight officiating. Pallbearers serving include Kirk Allen, Jason Jarrett, Aaron Allen, Jay Allen, Paxton Jarrett, and Hunter Lay. 

The family will receive friend Thursday afternoon May 2^nd from 4-5 pm at the funeral home.
