Ronald B. Robinson

Saturday, December 01, 2007 Mr Ronald B. Robinson age 60 of212 Brookstone Dr. S.W. , Calhoun, died Friday November 30th. at his residence following several months of declining health. Ronald was born in Calhoun on Dec. 19, 1946 son of the late W.Howard and Jemae Barton Robinson and had been a lifelong resident. He was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church and had been employed by Robinson Tire Co., since 1957 , which was founded by his father in 1952. Survivors include his wife of 25 years Sharon Fowler Robinson of Calhoun, one son; David Robinson and his wife Tyka of Calhoun, two step-sons; Jeremy and Jared Cochran, and grandchildren; Blair and Bryn Robinson, Rion and Dylan Cochran, Jason and Chandler Walter, one aunt; Marjean McDearis and a brother-in-law; Chris Hall. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday December 2nd at 2:30 P.M. from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. John T. Allen officiating. Jim Lay will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Hawkins in charge of the graveside rites. Mrs. Linda Walter will have charge of the music. Pallbearers serving include Andy Hightower, Rodney Freeman, Jimmy Wable, Chris Wable, Ryan Amos and Ron Anderson. Honorary pallbearers include Mike Sturgeon, Jimmy White, Charles Godfrey, Jerry Davis, Donald King, Emory and Clyde McEntyre, Ronnie Rogers, Charlie McBee, James Hayes, Richard Owen, Bruce Thomas, Al Densmore, Randall Jones, Harold Cochran, Gary Amos, Noel Roper, Jim Johnson, Jerry Strickland, Richard Brown and Henry Holland. Pallbearers are ask to meet at the funeral home at 2 P.M. Sunday. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home Saturday from 5 until 9 P.M..
