Rolfe David Johnson

Rolfe David Johnson, age 86, went to be with the Lord on the evening of August 19, 2022 in Calhoun, GA.

Rolfe was born in Monroe County, GA on December 25, 1935 to Rolfe Hunt and Nannie Kate (Grant) Johnson. He grew up as a dairy farmer and graduated from UGA in 1959. He made a career working for Georgia Farm Bureau for 29 years and transferred to Gordon County in 1984. He served there as Agency Manager until he retirement in 2003. In addition to his parents, Rolfe is preceded in death by: two brothers, Luther Barneille Johnson and William Newton Johnson; and five sisters, Janie Ruth Stewart, Dorothy Marshall, Imogene Vincent, Evelyn Johnson and Merle Giddens.

Rolfe is survived by: his wife, Jeannie Singleton Johnson; son, Rolfe Bradley Johnson (Rachel); three daughters, Libbie Smith (Charles), Sharon Johnson (Tracy) and Ramona Hartman; sister, Gloria Nix; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he loved so much.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
