MR. ROBERT WILSON, AGE 83 OF THE OAKMAN COMMUNITY DIED LATE MONDAY NIGHT AT REDMOND HOSPITAL AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF DECLINING HEALTH.
MR. WILSON WAS THE SON OF THE LATE JACK WILSON AND MANDY SILVERS WILSON. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE WHITE GRAVES BAPTIST CHURCH AND WAS SELF EMPLOYED IN THE PULPWOOD BUSINESS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS PROCEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SISTER ROSIE SWANSON AND SIX BROTHERS, LEONARD, JIM, OSCAR, ANDREW, BILL, AND HENRY WILSON.
MR. WILSON IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE OF FIFTY-TWO YEARS; JEWEL BANKS WILSON. ONE SISTER; MYRTLE REESE OF CALHOUN. SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS ALSO SURVIVE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE CONDUCTED ON THURSDAY FEBUARY 22ND AT 2 P.M. AT THE WHITE GRAVES BAPTIST CHURCH WITH THE REV. ISSAC JOHNS OFFICIATING. INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW IN THE CHURCH CEMETARY,AND THE WHITE GRAVES QUARTET WILL HAVE CHARGE OF THE MUSIC.
PALLBEARERS SERVING INCLUDE, BUDDY LOWE, R.L. CALLAWAY, BOBBY BANKS, BURL, JOHNNY, AND FRANK WILSON, LONNIE REESE, AND M.B. BANKS AND THESE GENTLEMEN ARE ASKED TO MEET AT THE CHURCH AT 12:45 P.M. THURSDAY.
ON THURSDAY THE BODY WILL LIE IN STATE AT THE CHURCH FROM 1P.M. UNTIL THE FUNERAL HOUR.
THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AT THE FUNERAL HOME ON WEDNSDAY 21ST FROM 2:00 P.M. TILL 10:00 P.M.
