Robert "Bob" Patterson Little,

Monday, June 27, 2011 Robert Patterson "Bob" Little, Jr., age 84 of Calhoun, passed away Sunday June 26th at his residence. Bob was born September 7, 1926 in Alexander City, Alabama. Son of the late Robert Patterson Little, Sr. and Sue Gale Little. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Air Force. Bob was a member of Calhoun First Presbyterian Church and was a retired engineer for Tice Yarns & Shaw Industries. Survivors include; his wife, Anna Gamble Little; two sons, Pat Little and his wife Lori and Charlie Little and his wife Gay all of Calhoun; one brother, Don Little of Alabama; two sisters, Gale Doak of Lakeland, Florida and Ellen Lotz of Jacksonville, Florida; three grandchildren, Megan, Daniel and Lauren Little also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday June 29th at 10am from the Calhoun First Presbyterian Church. With Rev. Pete Ullman officiating. Pallbearers serving will include, Paul Tathum, Robert Smith, Michael Smith, Jon Parker, Jim Clark, and Ron Jackson. Honorary Escorts will include members of the Adult I Sunday School Class. Following the services Bob will be taken to Stevenson City Cemetery in Stevenson, Alabama for a grave side service at 1:30 EST / 12:30 CST. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 to 7:30pm Tuesday evening.
