Mr. Robert L. “Bob” Kinman, age 84 of Resaca died Saturday, July 25 at his residence.
Robert was born, May 31, 1925 in Gordon County, son of the late Robert B. Kinman and Fannie Mae Robbins Kinman. He was a retired employee of the Whitfield County Road Department; a member of the Resaca Masonic Lodge # 724 F. & A.M.; and had attended the Resaca Baptist Church.
Robert is survived by his special friend, Patsy Worley of Resaca; two brothers, Willard Kinman of Calhoun; Charles Kinman and his wife, Elaine both of Calhoun; one sister, Margaret Register of Edgewater, Florida; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Monday at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverends Jack Baker and Kenneth Blackstock officiating. Burial will be in Fain Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites. Active pallbearers will be chosen from the Resaca Masonic Lodge #724, and honorary pallbearers will be other members of the Resaca Lodge.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Masonic Children’s Home in lieu of flowers
The Kinman family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
