Mr. Bobby “Red” Bradley, age 60 of 734 Reeves Station Rd. Calhoun, died Tuesday July 8th. at his residence following a brief illness.
Bobby was born in Forsyth, Ga. on Feb. 17, 1948 son of the late Donnie B. Bradley and Alene Stanfield Tinch who survives him. He was a member of the Cornerstone Ministry Church, was employed by North Georgia Textile for past 5 years as a truck driver. He also was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 47 for 38 years.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife Lillie Barrett Bradley of Calhoun, two daughters and sons-in-law; Laura and Andy Pitts of Richmond, Kansas and Vickie and Greg Fain of Calhoun, two brothers; Jimmy and Johnny Bradley both of Calhoun, one sister; Donna Sue Moore of Calhoun, five grandchildren; Jessica Langley, Kori Pitts, Stone Pitts, Taylor Fain and Autumn Fain.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordon Memorial Gardens with Military Rites.
Pallbearers include Adam Hamrick, Greg Fain, Taylor Fain, Andy Pitts, Thomas Whaley and Michael Cox. Honorary pallbearers include Gene Erwin, Gary Laneir and Bobby Adams and they are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:30 P.M. Friday.
The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home on Thursday evening after 4:00 P.M.
