Ricki Wynn Weaver, age 75, passed away on Friday, June 9th at Advent Health Gordon in Calhoun, Georgia.

 

Ricki was born on April 14, 1948, in Carthage, Missouri, to the late Carl Russell Weaver and Erma Campbell Weaver. He was married to the love of his life, Sarah Elizabeth Smith Weaver. Ricki was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, was a member of the choir, and former youth director. He was an alumnus of Stephen F. Austin University. He worked with Shaw Industries for over 30 years. Ricki was a member of the North Georgia Modular Train Club, avid outdoorsman and loved woodworking. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, John Weaver.

 

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Smith Weaver; children, Mary Catherine W. Dees and her husband David of Charlotte, NC, Jonathan Weaver and his wife Olivia of Calhoun, Angelica K. Ralston of Seattle, WA, Sierra Smith of MA; grandchildren, Connor Dees, Lauren Dees, Catherine Dees all of Charlotte, NC, Jase Weaver, and Sadie Waver both of Calhoun; sister, Carolyn Brooks; sister-in law, Lois Weaver, Jane S. Lumbard and her husband Woody; brother-in-law, Eddie Smith; many nieces and nephews also survive.

 

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 13th  at 1 pm from Calhoun First Baptist with Dr. John Barber and Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating. Lance Cole will have charge of music. Fishers of Men Sunday School Class, Gary Owen, Gerald Jackson, Jesse Shirley, Tom Shanahan, Bob Reichley, Dennis Alexander, and Ron Lee will serve has honorary pallbearers.

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 13th from 11:30 AM until the service hour of 1 PM at Calhoun First Baptist Church.

 

Donations may be made in honor of Ricki to Calhoun First Baptist Church in addition to flowers.
